Founded in 2004, Charlotte James is one of Scotland's leading specialist upholstery manufacturers and has an established and skilled workforce creating a range of both classic and contemporary pieces.

Using both traditional and modern techniques each element of production is closely monitored, ensuring the finished item is to the highest quality and specification.  Each fabric is individually hand cut, the pattern matched, sewn and upholstered.

Each item in the Charlotte James range is made using solid hard wood frames that are screwed and glued.  The seat bases are sprung, making them more supportive and long lasting.

As each piece of furniture in the Charlotte James range is made to order, it is possible for us to offer a complete bespoke service for an additional charge.  From heightening an arm, to altering the depth or shape of the back you are able to create a piece of furniture to fit your exact requirements.
